SSBCL's 9th International Education and Tourism Exhibition-2009 (News Update)
Dhaka, 23 October: A three day International Education and Tourism Exhibition close today at Hotel Sheraton. More than 80 prestigious foreign educational institute and travel & tourism organization of Bangladesh are participating directly in the exhibition. A total of 48 stalls are here and the exhibition will remain open from 9am to 8 pm.
The exhibition provided information on the range of degree as certificate, diploma, undergraduate and post graduate program, offering scholarship as an attraction to prospective candidates. Other opportunities are waiting at the last day for the students are- discount on application fees for Germany, Spot admission for Australia, UK, Germany, USA; tution fees waiver for spot admission.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister G M Quader inaugurated the Exhibition on 21 October. " Education is a timeless asset that can open innumerable doors of opportunity, both for the individual as well as the nation. A diverse and culturally aware population brings enormous advantage to open up and to enlighten the society. Education makes the society aware and progressive. Proper and quality education is a necessity for development of society. Education can be provided through institutions and education can also be acquired through experience", he told.
Mr. Quader said tourism provides enormous scope for learning as it facilities observing and understanding diversities, geographical, cultural etc. that exist in different countries and societies.
Mr Quader said to the reporter that education consultancy firm playing a good role for higher studies abroad, provide information and communication network. If any consultancy make irregularities or student face problem government must take action about it. Because government main work to protect public interest.
The meeting presided by SSBCL MD S Talukder, and Mr. Jamal Uddin Bin Sabeh, High Commissioner of Malaysia, Mrs. Angela Grunert, Director, Goethe Institute , Mrs. K N Arian, Chairman SNN Media, Md Kamruzaman Vice President, Eastern Bank Ltd attended as special guest.
SSBCL MD S Talukder said that each young person who enters the right field of study has the opportunity to proceed ahead and become an authority in their field of study. This individual symbolizes one more person with an enriched mind who can carry their own live, business, country and humanity forward.
